Discounted Junior Golf at Area Courses

Souris Valley Golf Course: MJGA pays for half of a Junior/Pee Wee Season Pass and $4 of a bucket of range balls:

  • Bucket of range balls: $6 $2
  • Season Passes:
    •  Junior (ages 13-17) $300 $150
    • Pee Wee (up to age 12): $137 $68.50

Travel Support for Junior Golf Tournaments

Winter Golf at the MSU Bubble

In partnership with Minot State University, MJGA proudly offers Golf in the Bubble on Sunday evenings throughout the winter! Junior golfers enjoy free range balls courtesy of MJGA, while adults are welcome to join by purchasing their own buckets. This program provides a great opportunity to keep your swing sharp and enjoy a driving-range-style experience, even during the cold winter months. Elementary School Golf Instruction

  • The Minot Junior Golf Association is proud to equip local elementary schools with SNAG® Golf (‘Starting New At Golf’) equipment, bringing golf instruction into P.E. classes. As a leading first-touch program, SNAG® makes learning the game fun and accessible for all ages and skill levels.
  • To further support schools, MJGA’s Director of Golf Programming collaborates with teachers, providing guidance on the equipment and assisting with programming as needed, ensuring a positive and engaging introduction to the game. Support for Medora Girls Golf Camp

MJGA helps offset the cost of the Medora Girls Golf Camp by covering the registration fee for area girls who attend. This is a great opportunity for young female golfers to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The Dakota Junior Golf Association

Since 1993, the Dakota Junior Golf Association (DJGA) has been the driving force behind junior golf in North Dakota, organizing tournaments and opportunities for young golfers statewide. Through its Summer Tournament Series, DJGA continues to grow the game by fostering competition, skill development, and sportsmanship. MJGA is proud to support DJGA’s mission and values our ongoing partnership in expanding golf opportunities for junior players across the state.

Youth on Course

Youth on Course is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making golf accessible and affordable for young players. Since 2006, they have been breaking down financial barriers by providing members with the opportunity to play rounds for $5 or less. Beyond the course, Youth on Course supports juniors through college scholarships, mentorships, internships, and leadership programs—helping them build skills, connections, and a lifelong love for the game.
