MJGA Scholarships
MJGA Spring Senior Scholarship
The Minot Junior Golf Association proudly supports junior golfers through our scholarship program. Established in 2016, the scholarships are awarded to students who participated in school-sanctioned high school golf programs. Students do not need to continue playing golf at the college level to be eligible. Applicants must complete a short application and write a brief essay, with additional points given for previous participation in MJGA programs and volunteer efforts.
Each year, the Minot Junior Golf Association awards $4,000 scholarships, distributed over a four-year period. From 2016 to 2026, MJGA has awarded 54 scholarships, investing a total of $216,000 in local student-athletes.

“I am very fortunate to have been able to play on the Minot High Girls golf team, volunteer at the junior golf events, participate in summer tournaments and to have such amazing support from the Junior Golf organization. I can’t wait to further my education and continue to play the game I love in the Minot community.”

These scholarships are available for every event in the Dakota Junior Golf Association Applebee’s Cup held at Minot-area golf courses, including the Vardon Golf Course, Souris Valley Golf Course, and Beowulf Golf Club.
Scholarship dollars will be applied to a college or university at the time the applicant attends.
